This was the first public disclosure of the co-processor Glenn and about 10 others at Centaur had been working on the last 3 years. I sat with Herb Schwetman, predecessor at UTCS and now neighbor two doors down. I didn't know anyone else there. Someone I didn't know told Glenn he'd worked for Glenn at IBM. The room was full with UT students, a few faculty, probably about 8 people from Centaur.

The product announcement seemed imminent, but Glenn didn't want to preempt the formal announcement, so didn't allow video except for someone from U.T. who will release the video in the future.
